I own a Zune 120G and I thought it was the best toy I ever had next to my laptop. Ever since I put those earphones on, Zune and I were inseparable. Sound quality is just heavenly, I couldn't put it down. I even had it on to put me to sleep. I even wrote a 5-star review here. But our love affair was short lived. After a month and a half, the squircle stopped working and I had to send to a Microsoft 3rd party (I realized this after I called for the repair). Before you buy, check their repair policy. Their policy is to replace it with a REFURBISHED unit. Lesson No. 1, when your Zune dysfunctions before the store warranty date, RETURN IT TO THE STORE FOR REPLACEMENT!!! Don't call Zune and send to them for repair. I made this big mistake, so okay there's nothing I can do but to wait and accept a refurbished one. When I got it back, IT WASN'T THE SAME. Gone was the magic, the quality was inferior compared to my original one. After painstakingly re-downloading all my 100+ cds, pictures, music video for the second time, I know I have to return the refurbished one back. I tried but cannot settle for this inferior one. After more than an hour of pleading with the customer representative(with an Indian accent). Half the time, I had to ask him to repeat what he said, I couldn't make out anything he said. There was no way they will replace with a new one and I can't return to the store where I bought it because it's not the original one anymore. Okay, enough of my venting.
