When deciding on which mp3 player to buy, I did a lot of homework on the Zune and truly thought I was making a good choice. All of its features are considered to be totally comparable the the iPod classic, and some are even better-screen size and weight for instance. Unfortunately, when I began setting the Zune up and syncing it to my computer, my computer did not recognize the device--even though the Zune was plugged into the USB port and receiving a charge. I tried everything that was recommended from Zune's online support, but still nothing. I called Zune and they tried 2 or 3 steps to eliminate the error, but that didn't work either. They told me to send it in for repair, which would take at least 3 weeks. A month later, I received a refurbished Zune and started the set up process all over again...and the same thing happened! I called them right away and this time spent almost an hour with a representative who tried to troubleshoot the issue, but nothing worked. When they told me I'd have to send the replacement Zune in for repair, I decided I'd had enough of Zune and contacted Amazon for a refund, which they graciously granted.
